This KC&NW railroad operated for over 100 years with only 7 miles of track from start to finish. At one time they had 6 steam locomotives running at once!	The Winifrede railroad is one of the most interesting railroads in WV. WRR is over 150 years old, and started as a gravity type railroad utilizing horses and wood rails.
